    I have been to a lot of camps in my years. There was bible camp, French camp, wilderness camp, writing camp and others I didn't quite convince my parents of: horse riding camp, crossing guard camp, and NASA camp. When I was younger the idea of going to a program intense on one subject for a week, two weeks or even a month thrilled me! To be around people who were all passionate about riding horses or writing short stories, made me feel that their passion would be passed on to me by being around them. But never did ..

    It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words.  So when you have to write a sentence or two caption for a picture, how do you know which of those thousand words to use?  Well that is one of the reasons for yearbook camp.

     

    When I was given the great responsibly to lead a group of students as their yearbook adviser, I made a few key decisions as a rookie that helped me tremendously.  One was attending yearbook camp and the other was bringing students along.
