Twilight Series - Vampires taking over?

Since the unbelievable success of the Twilight series it seems there are tons of Vampire books out there.

 What are some other vampire themed books you would suggest?

the Mercy Thompson series - Patricia Briggs (This is actually a series about werewolves and a "walker" but there are vampires involved.  And Fey.  Wonderful)

the ever classic Interview with a vampire - Anne Rice
